CBS announces Sela Ward will play an experienced investigator from Washington, D.C., whose work is driven by her empathy for the victim. Sela's character will be seen when the show returns this fall-Fridays at 9 p.m.EST on CBS.

Sela's new movie, The Stepfather. Here is the official plot outline from Screen Gems" Dylan Walsh stars as David Harris, very much a "family values" man who mysteriously comes into the lives of single mothers with children and becomes the dream man they always wanted. When he woos Susan Harding played by Sela Ward and eventually moves in with her family, her teenage son Michael, played byPenn Bagdleybegins to suspect that David is not quite the dream man he pretends to be. Along with his girlfriend Kelly starring Amber Heard and Susan's friends portrayed by Paige Turco and Sherry Stringfield, they slowly start to piece together the mystery of the man who is set to become their stepfather, but they may be too late in getting to the truth.

Sela has signed to be in the movie The Stepfather with Dylan Walsh. Production will begin in the spring.

The Guardian opens in theaters Sept 29th. Sela plays the role of Helen.

UNTITLED PROJECT (ABC) - Sela is set to topline a potential new half-hour comedy for the Alphabet. The untitled project would follow the lives of four women in a small Southern town. Touchstone Television-based writer/producer Don Todd ("life as we know it") is behind the comedy with Lindy DeKoven serving as a non-writing executive producer. Ward herself would also serve as a producer should the project move forward to series.

Sela has signed on to star opposite Kevin Costner in "The Guardian" for Touchstone Pictures reports Reuters. The story revolves around the relationship between a rebellious Coast Guard enlistee (Ashton Kutcher) and a legendary rescue swimmer (Costner). In "Guardian," she will play the wife of Costner's character who is grappling with their troubled marriage.

Sela Ward’s Emmy gown (and other celebrity items from the Emmys, Teen Choice Awards and other events) are now up for auction at Clothes Off Our Backs to benefit children's charities. Proceeds from the auction benefit Hurricane Relief, UNICEF's work in the Sudan, Half the Sky and Cure Autism Now.

Sela is helping to organize funds for Mississippi hurrican victims. She and others are organizing a concert called, "Mississippi Rising". Read more Here

Sela has joined the cast of House Official Site as "Stacy"...she will air on Tuesday, May 17 and the season finale Tuesday, May 24. HOUSE airs on Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In addition, Sela will return to HOUSE for season two in a recurring role. Sela will play a woman from Dr. House's past who returns to Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, where she used to work as a lawyer. Although she has a complicated past with House, her return into his life is under much more dire circumstances.

Emmy-winning actress Sela Ward has joined the cast of "The Day After Tomorrow," starring Dennis Quaid as a climatologist trying to save the world from abrupt climate change. The picture is being directed by Roland Emmerich ("The Patriot," "Independence Day"), from his own screenplay -- based on the book "The Coming Global Superstorm" by radio talker Art Bell. Ward won Emmys for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for "Sisters" (1994) and "Once and Again" (2000).

Sela taped a voice over commercial for GM the week of Sept 15th. that began airing within a few days.

Sela narrates a video about the Grand Opera House in Meridian, Mississippi..Sela Video Sela's hair is blonde because she filmed it right after finishing Almost Golden..that is when the fundraising started.

Sela's husband, Howard Sherman played the role of Clavan on Once and Again. Episode title is Scribbling Rivalry.
