A. I was approached about writing a book and I explored with the publisher what I was interested in writing about. And so much of my life has been about returning home and longing for home, wanting my children to know about my roots. Q. Your talent is unsurpassed. Once And Again and Sisters captured and showcased your dramatic and comedic talents so beautifully. We as fans were blessed to witness both your dramatic and comedic brilliance in the one hour drama format. Since you are a busy Mom, Wife and celebrity and you'd prefer not to engage in another hour series, do you think you'll do a half-hour sit-com in the future?
A. Thank you. I would consider a half hour sitcom if the script was good.

Q. Do you ever plan to get together with any of the cast members from Once and Again, now that the shows over?
A. I hear from Billy, Marin and Shane pretty often.

Q. Would you ever do another show for ABC? Do you like to read what the press writes about you?
A. Most of the press is sent to my publicist so I do see most of what is written about me. As for ABC you can't take it personally. We had three good years.

Q. Do you still keep in touch with the cast of O&A? What is your favorite O&A episode and why?
A. My favorite episodes are the pilot and episode two. I do keep in touch with a few of the cast members

Q. Being a mother, what childrens movie/cartoon/tv show have you seen hundreds of times? What was your favorite tv show/cartoon as a child? Who is a bigger prankster Clooney or Campbell? If you weren't an actor/model what other career would interest you?

A. My kids enjoy the Disney program, Lizzy McGuire. I loved Dark Shadows as a child. The biggest prankster between George and Billy would be George. If I wasn't an actress I would run a fortune 500 company.

Q. Is there gonna be a renuion of "sisters"episode?
A. I haven't heard anything about a reunion show for Sisters. But if the script was good I would do it.

Q. Sela, it was wonderful meeting you in March when I had the opportunity to come to the set with Ruthie. You are an amazing person. I would like to know if you received the keychain I made in beads with your children's names on it?
A. Yes I did get them. Thank you so much! I didn't realize they were from you. I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.

Q. There was an advert with you smoking moors, did you smoke them in real life?
A. No I have never smoked. That ad was before they made you sign a contract stating you use the product.

Q. I am curious as to how you decided on the names of your children. Austin and Anabella are beautiful names, are they named after friends or family?

A. When it came to naming my daughter I was thumbing through a coffee table book called " A Room of her Own" showing women's private spaces. One photograph was of a little girl caught in midair bouncing on her bed. On the post of her bed was a hand painted box which said "Anabella's mail". She was so adorable that I couldn't get her image and name out of my head. My mother's name was Annie Kate and my grandmother's name was Annie Raye and my middle name is Ann so the Ana part of her name I felt covered the women in my family. The bella half reminds me so much of Italy which is my favorite place on earth! So that is how she got her name, Anabella Raye Sherman.

Austin was another story. I was having a very difficult time figuring out a boy's name. He actually didn't have a name for 8 days after his birth. Howard and I were so frusterated that we asked friends and family to make us lists of their favorite boy's names which we went through daily. One evening we were having dinner with my brother Brock and we asked him to, using our favorite names, pretend to leave a message on a girl's answering machine asking her out on a date. Austin sounded like the coolest guy so we went with that. His middle name is Ward completing his name Austin Ward Sherman.

I don't know where to begin in expressing my appreciation for the loyalty and devotion you have all shown since the beginning of Once and Again. You have warmed my heart and made all the efforts of working on this show worth every minute. The campaign you all participated in from the ad's in the trades to the wonderful billboard was awesome ( I drove by it to see it for myself!). I feel so very grateful to have such wonderful people stand behind my work. Thank you all!!! Have a wonderful summer. Fondly, Sela

Dear Friends;
I have never been so touched - to the point of tears - that each
of you would take the time to personally write a note and contribute to
the beautiful plaque. It made my birthday especially meaningful to be
thought of in such a lovely way by such giving people.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It meant more to
me than you'll ever know.

Fondly,
Sela Ward
